1.6 Self-Utilization Credit

When a PV system is coupled with a battery storage system, the software allows a portion of the PV/flexibility EDR2 to be traded against the efficiency EDR2. This modest credit can be used for tradeoffs against building envelope and efficiencies of the equipment installed in the building. More detail is provided in Section 2.1.5.6 “Self-Utilization Credit.”
