2019 Nonresidential Energy Code Forms
Official California Energy Commission compliance documents you can download and use to show compliance with the
2019 California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6 or Energy Code).
And, for the Nonresidential Certificates of Compliance, a Virtual Compliance Assistant to fill in the forms

NRCC Forms (Nonresidential Certificates of Compliance)
The Nonresidential Certificates of Compliance (NRCC) are to demonstrate the construction documents are compliant with the Energy Code at the time of permit application.

Submit the completed form to the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
NRCI Forms (Nonresidential Certificates of Installation)
The Nonresidential Certificates of Installation (NRCI) are to demonstrate installations are compliant with the Energy Code at the time of construction and should be submitted by the installer to the inspector. Please:

Submit the completed form to the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
NRCA Forms (Nonresidential Certificates of Acceptance)
The Nonresidential Certificates of Acceptance (NRCA) are to demonstrate compliance with Acceptance Testing requirements in the Energy Code. These documents must be completed by a field technician or Certified Acceptance Test Technician (ATT) and submitted to the inspector.
Forms ending in a “-F” can be downloaded here, completed, and submitted to the inspector.
Forms ending in a “-A” need to be completed by an ATT through a Certification Provider’s website. See the California Energy Commission website to find an ATT, and for more information on the Acceptance Testing Program.
NRCV Forms (Nonresidential Certificates of Verification)
The Nonresidential Certificates of Verification (NRCV) are to demonstrate compliance with HERS verification requirements in the Energy Code. These documents must be completed by a HERS Rater and registered with a HERS Provider’s registry prior to submitting them to the inspector.
NRCV forms are available for download here for informational purposes only and cannot be filled and submitted to demonstrate compliance.
