The basis of this document is the 2022 Energy Code and definitions for terms used in this manual can be found in the 2022 Energy Code Documents also relied upon include the Reference Appendices for the 2022 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (reference appendices) and the 2022 Single-Family Residential Compliance Manual (CEC-400-2022-006-CMF).

Detailed modeling information for the software user can be found in the California Building Energy Code Compliance Residential (CBECC-Res) User Manual.
